SUMMARY:Maritime@TSE event: Maritime green growth - evaluating opportunities & bottlenecks
DESCRIPTION:Decarbonization is bringing vast transformations to the global maritime industry\, but how do we evaluate it with respect to economic growth and its impact on economies?  Given Finland’s significant maritime-related industrial base\, it raises the question: what role will our industry play in global development? In this event\, both research and industry insights will be included to facilitate discussions and the exchange of views on the topic. The aim is also to incorporate frameworks and methods from economics to illustrate how different impacts could be modeled for e.g. investment analyses and decision-making support. The event will be held at Turku School of Economics and is free of charge. \nPlease see the event website\, for an overview of the event\, program and registration information.
