At the end of February each year, the Finnish Port Operators Association and the Shipbrokers Finland publish a statistical review of industry activities.

Finneco II, the second of three ro-ro vessels in the Eco class was delivered at the China Merchants Jinling Shipyard in China on 30 May. The vessel will enter Finnlines’ Biscay line, where it will join the sister vessel, Finneco I.

The new vessels come as part of Maersk’s ongoing fleet renewal program and will replace tonnage of more than 150,000 TEU which is reaching end-of-life.
