Finnlines’ Tapani Voionmaa elected to the BIMCO Board of Directors

ABS released its latest report into the potential of advanced nuclear technology for maritime applications, with a study of a small modular reactor on a standard liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier.

Electramar, the first of twelve plug-in hybrid vessels for ESL Shipping’s subsidiary AtoB@C Shipping was christened in the city centre of Helsinki on May 15th with a traditional ceremony celebrated by clients, stakeholders and employees. Following the old maritime tradition, a bottle of sparkling wine was smashed against the vessel’s bow to bring good luck and safe travels to the vessel and its crew.
