AS Tallink Grupp growth continues

In June 2017 AS Tallink Grupp transported 976 165 passengers, which is a 7.4% increase compared to June 2016. The number of cargo units increased by 14.5% to 30 841 units and the number of passenger vehicles increased by 1.8% to 123 353 units in the same comparison.

The first fleet to be entirely MRV compliant is d’Amico Group and verified by RINA

RINA Services has verified that the entire fleet of the d’Amico Group has met the Monitoring, Reporting and Verification of CO2 emissions Regulation (MRV) requirements according to EU 2015/757 Regulation. The fleet comprises 36 vessels which are managed by d’Amico Società di Navigazione and 35 vessels managed by its subsidiary Ishima Pte. Ltd.

The Stena Impeccable, the latest IMOIIMAX tanker to be delivered, named in Rotterdam. It was a sunny day when the guests gathered for the solemn ceremony. The proud godmother was Trintje Margaretha Oosters, from Dutch RVB Company with which Stena Bulk and Stena Weco have a long-lasting relationship. The naming ceremony took place in the Port of Rotterdam where the vessel arrived as late as at the beginning of this week.

M/T Tempera is soon in Singapore and after one year will leave to Congo

Keppel Shipyard Ltd. has won three contracts for the conversion, repair, and modification of offshore vessels. One, from Dixstone Holdings, involves converting the M/T Tempera into an FPSO for deployment on Perenco’s Yombe field offshore Republic of Congo. It will replace the FPSO Conkouati which operated at the field for more than 25 years and was also converted by Keppel Shipyard in 1991.
