The U.S. Department of Interior on Thursday released its final regulations over any future offshore exploratory drilling activities on the U.S. Arctic Outer Continental Shelf to ensure safety and environmental protection in the Arctic region.

SMM is the leading international trade fair of the maritime industry held every two years. In SMM 2014 there were nearly 30 Finnish companies showcasing their know-how in the field of shipbuilding, machinery and marine technology for more than 50 000 visitors from all over the world. According to the studies 95% of visitors rated SMM as “very good” or “good”, and 82% plan to return in 2016.
