Räty has approximately 30 years of broad experience from the marine insurance industry and as a leader. He has for the past 10 years worked at Zurich Insurance in various roles within Marine Cargo, Property and Engineering lines of insurance. Prior to his career at Zurich, he worked at Marsh as broker as well as part of the Management team. He also has experience working as an underwriter within Pohjola.

Räty has his first day of employment on June 27 at Alandia. He will have Helsinki as his stationing place, but will travel continuously to Alandia’s other offices in Mariehamn and Stockholm.
The appointment needs regulatory approval.
