120 metriä korkean nosturin 2500 tonninen pääkannatinpuomi nostettiin tänään lopulliseen korkeuteensa Meyer Turun telakalla.

Pääkannatinpuomin nosto alkoi tuulen hellitettyä perjantaina aamulla, ja 2500 tonnisen puomin nosto saatiin valmiiksi sunnuntaina. 120 metriä korkea nosturi on näkyvin osa Meyer Turun 185 miljoonan euron investointiohjelmasta. Meyer Turulle Kone Cranesin toimittama nosturi on kuitenkin paljon muutakin kuin alueen uusi nähtävyys.

The technology group Wärtsilä will support the 1100 Class High Endurance Multitask Vessels operated by the Canadian Coast Guard, to renew their current propulsion generators. These vessels serve for buoy tending, search and rescue and icebreaking in each of the three Region of the Canadian Coast Guard. The new, more modern propulsion generators will contribute to the vessel’s reliability for many years to come. Furthermore, the standards of engineering and fuel consumption for the new engines will lead to reduced operational costs and lower emissions.

An historic diesel engine locomotive was discharged from Spliethoff’s vessel Floragracht by Euroports Belgium in Antwerp.

Transported from Milwaukee on Lake Michigan in the United States an historic NS 2000 diesel locomotive is being transported to the port of Antwerp for final destination The Netherlands. Here the locomotive will be restored by a museum. The NS-locomotive 2000 is a diesel-electric locomotive that was deployed by the Dutch Railways between 1946 and 1960.
